We were delighted to welcome around 50 guests to Coopers’ Hall last evening for our Spring Prospective Members’ Evening when we were joined by many Young Freemen.
The Master welcomed all guests and Common Councillor Ben Murphy spoke about the Livery Companies and connection with the City of London, after which Coopers’ members provided guided tours around our beautiful Hall.
Court Assistant Helena Cooke brought in the firkin she had crafted a couple of weeks ago (see earlier post for details), which was much admired (along with her skill in creating!).
If you know anyone who would like to come to a future evening (next date is Monday 23rd September), please email events@cooperscompany.co.uk.
Don't forget they can also join the informal drinks organised by The Society (next date 6th June & details can be found under the Events tab) or come along to watch the Cask Race on 8th June!
