Welcoming six new Members to the Coopers' Company
We were delighted to welcome six new members to the Coopers’ Company last week.
As they already hold the Freedom of the City of London, Lewis Riley and Ruth Shane joined the Company as Liverymen, while Ges Roulstone and Martha Sykes joined as Freemen. All four were admitted by Redemption.
We were also pleased to admit Sean Dove and Alex Belay, Apprentices to Pastmaster Bill Scott, who joined the Company through Servitude.
Our four new Freemen are now enthusiastically applying for their Freedom of the City of London, and we look forward to celebrating this next step with them.

Additionally we were pleased to mark the formalisation of the relationship between London Scouts and The Coopers’ Company which is a significant occasion celebrating partnership, shared values, and a commitment to supporting young people and the wider community. The Scouts provided a splendid stair guard with two of their leaders - Adam Taylor and Nicholas Thompson - joining for dinner and completing the formalities!
